Stephen Smith

I listed for sale a rental unit with Stephen Smith in February, 2012 which I had tried to sell with another agent before.

I am writing to recommend Stephen Smith to any prospective Vendor considering selling a property on the Gold Coast.  A couple of months ago our family decided to sell a three bedroom apartment on the Esplanade at Burleigh Heads.

This property had been owned by the family since the building was constructed in 1980.  We made contact with a couple of agents including Stephen.  We chose Stephen because he was the only agent who outlined a strategic plan that seemed to be tailored to the product we were selling.  Stephen presented a strategy of selling our property at Auction.  Given the weak state of the market in the Gold Coast we had our reservations about this strategy.  Stephen pointed out the fact the an Auction would put a definite time frame in place for a sale campaign.  The marketing campaign was very disciplined and cost efficient. We found Stephen to be honest and that he kept communicating with us about any serious parties and offers that had been made during the campaign.

In conclusion Stephen proved to be a highly skilled negotiator and achieved a sale price far in excess of what we expected to achieve.  I am happy for Stephen to pass on my contact details for anyone considering engaging Stephen to sell their property.
